There are too many names. By the second paragraph i was confused.I kept thinking all the way through this that whatchamacallit is it tatiana was for some reason a mass murderer. Then everything would be much better =)

yes. the birds are the holy spirit in the form of a dove. Jesus is being crucified and the man with the staff is joesph. The person who lived there before must have been supersticious.

Well, I’m a Catholic and probably a good bit older than your mum. I’ve worn simple crosses – all Christians like these, including Catholics – and crosses with the figure of Jesus on them (called crucifixes). I think mainly Catholics like that one. You should buy your mother whichever one you like, though the crucifix is a bit more ‘Catholic’. Definitely avoid the one covered with diamonds – doesn’t fit with our idea of Jesus!
